This little painting on a wooden panel emerged in response to a primary school project 'Artangels - Pictures to Save the Planet' and was inspired by Mexican miracle paintings.

It is painted with acrylics on a gesso ground.

Pastures new at Aberystwyth School of Art and time now to explore new directions in more depth.

My starting point is this page from the Llyfyr Coch Hergest which I saw in the Weston Library in Oxford. The 'Eiry Mynydd', an early Gnomic poem, provided motivation to explore a genre new to me, and to see Landscape primarily as a habitat rather than a view.
